Publication of a Study Demonstrating the Efficacy of iTAP in Head and Neck Cancer( A Collaborative Study with Kanagawa Dental University )

In a collaborative study with Kanagawa Dental University, we have demonstrated the in vivo therapeutic efficacy of a novel cancer treatment platform, iTAP (intelligent Targeted Antibody Phototherapy), in head and neck cancer. The results have been published in the international peer-reviewed journal Biomedicines.

iTAP is a proprietary technology that combines an EGFR-targeted immunotoxin with an already approved photosensitizer, using light irradiation as a spatiotemporal trigger to enable efficient intracellular delivery and enhanced antitumor activity. In a head and neck cancer xenograft mouse model, iTAP achieved earlier, stronger, and more durable tumor growth suppression compared with immunotoxin or photodynamic therapy alone.

These findings highlight iTAP’s potential as a differentiated, platform-based cancer therapy that leverages existing clinical assets while significantly improving efficacy, supporting its future development and expansion into additional solid tumor indications.
